FALL year four
SEASON FORECAST After a long, hot, stormy summer - fall has been predicted to be much kinder. The temperatures have dropped to a comfortable heat, along with the humidity index. For a long time the residents of Addison are relived from the humidity and heat, making winter appear to be kinder than the rest.

This is where you will find everything helpful. 'Helpful' includes the infamous rules (we promise they're not bad), an FAQ, and the plot/history of the site. Occasionally we'll update the rules or FAQ so check back occasionally just so you're not misinformed...because that would suck and make you the black sheep of the Crossfire Farms family, and we can't have that.
If there's a major update that we need you guys to know about we'll post it here in an announcement. We will also post threads for OTM voting so you can vote on your favorite character/member/thread/etc and hopefully see their face featured on the side boards! Wouldn't that be exciting? We think so.
Of course, we're a role play site so you've got to have a place to make your character, right? WRONG. Just kidding. This is where you can post your character's application, we ask that you please wait to start role playing until you're accepted just so we know you didn't do something wrong, it would be quite unfortunate if your character was walking around with the wrong information.
If you need a place to plot, someone to make graphics for your character or somewhere to put your character logs you've come to the right place, you can plot, create art and character logs to your heart's content. No stealing though or we will have to take action (and it's very forceful).
Communication is key, so whether you want to leave a text message with devastating news, or plead for forgiveness through a heartfelt voice mail, it's up to you. We like communication. And communication loves you.
In line with the 'communication' theme, who doesn't love the safety of the world wide web and it's form of communication? Instant messaging is all the rage for tweens and 45 year old pedophiles...and everyone in between.
Here you can find listings of horses for sale, stud books and listings for horse trainers, riders and grooms. Please post in the correct board, using the correct forms.
Known as the suburbs, North Addison has the largest collection of neighborhoods. It's also home to a few well known mom 'n pop stores and a couple local bakeries and coffee shops, just a good homely place to be.
East Addison is always bursting with life during the day, seeing that it is downtown Addison. Most people come to East Addison to enjoy the city park. However there's many other attractions like the Museum of Science, the largest mall in the area, a zoo, and of course the ever needed hospital.
With its collection of various eating places, South Addison is known as the 'food center' of the city. Ranging from upscale eateries to diners that have been here since the fifties. It's also got a drive-in movie theater that's been there since drive-in movies were invented. Of course...it's been renovated to fit the times.
Not exactly the serene, yet bustling city life that East Addison is, West Addison is an attraction for mostly the 'younger' scene. West Addison features a couple clubs and bars. Not surprisingly Addison University is located in West Addison, as is Addison High School and the newly added Addison Recreation Center.
Inside the large barn of Crossfire Farms, you'll find a tack and feed room, a lounge, the spacious indoor arena, and of course roomy stalls, wash racks and cross ties, everything a barn should have.
Crossfire Farms is surrounded by acres of large grass pastures, and behind the barn are four large outdoor arenas for riding with all-weather sand footing. There is a path that separates the four arenas onto two different sides and leads out into a large forest on the back of the property with many different trails for riders to take their horses out for a hack.
While it's nice to play around town, not everyone wants to stay in Addison, so why not hop on a plane and travel somewhere within the U.S. like Hawaii, or Florida. Or, if you're feeling adventurous there's always Alaska.
For those who aren't satisfied within the American border and don't feel like going all the way out to Europe, there is always our Canadian neighbours next door.
For those not satisfied with the confines of the American boundaries, the airport can send you off on an adventure to somewhere in Europe like Germany, France, Spain, and Ireland.
You can pretty much talk about anything here (just nothing that will offend others, and no fights, please). If you want to rant, introduce yourself, or even post random thoughts, this is the place to do it. The away board is also located here.
This is where you will read the antics of the gossip monger known to you as Monster Messenger. Monster Messenger is the all-knowing gossip queen of Addison, this blogger will not fail to entertain and keep you informed!
Everyone loves games, at least we do. If you're a fun sucker then your soullessness is unwanted (trolls not allowed). Here you can post your own games or participate in other people's games. Just some mindless fun, like tv...but not.
Since it seems that we have banned advertising on basically every other board on this site, that means we won't let you advertise at all. Bah humbug. Not. Just post here, be sure you post in the correct board (but no harm done if you don't, we'll just move it and ask for your left kidney).
